A unique event in the annual schedule is the get-together of journos and industry execs in Santa Cruz.
The uniqueness of it is that the journos come from, literally, all over the world: China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Europe, India, Scandinavia and Israel - as well as America.
There is nothing else quite like it among the various industry conferences throughout the year.
It is organised by Globalpress of San Jose which calls it simply The Summit.
This year, editors from 50 trade journals meet 20 companies at The Summit in The Chaminade Hotel, Santa Cruz between April 14th and 18th.The 18th is reserved for start-ups.
