RPC Group subsidiary M&H Plastics has packaged Asda’s new range of own brand shampoos in PET contour bottle on behalf of Potter & Moore.
The PET contour bottle comes with an oval flip-top that is made out of polypropylene.
These bottles and caps are available in a variety of colors to highlight the exotic ingredients of pomegranate, orchid, coconut, raspberry, silk and Argan oil used in the shampoo range, the company said.
Asda packaging development manager Fiona Dobson said: "We're delighted with the packaging for our new range. We worked closely with Potter & Moore and M&H to develop the perfect colour palette for the bottles & caps.
"The finished result has really helped to create presence on the shelf as well as improved quality perception within the Asda Own Brand category."
M&H operates specialist sites for PET production, accredited food container manufacture and full decorating services. Its full design, sampling and production facility produces wide or narrow neck bottles, jars and tubes.
Its packaging solutions are supplied to customers across personal care, healthcare, food and industrial chemical industries.
M&H provides injection stretch blow moulding, extrusion blow moulding, injection blow moulding, decoration, printing and blocking for bottles, jars, tubes, closures and fitments.
In July, RPC Superfos, another subsidiary of RPC Group, commissioned production at its new manufacturing facility in Winchester, Virginia.
Equipped with new European moulding machines, robotics and moulds, the new unit will cater to the packaging needs of the firm's US and global clientele.
