A total of 8.4 million m³ of lumber were produced in Russia in the first five months of 2012, which equates to a reduction of 0.5% compared to the same period last year. In May alone, production increased by 5.4% year-over-year to 1.8 million m³. However, this means that May production was 4% lower than April's.
