The American company CGS - the largest provider of outsourcing solutions present in Romania-open a new support center in the local market in the city of Miami and to make it functional, competitions for 100 jobs.
"For CGS, the last location in Miami marks a new stage of development, as it actually was, in turn, each of the existing centers in Bucharest, Brasov and Sibiu. We focused this time to another region the country, wanting to diversify in terms of the labor market from which we recruit employees and at the same time to support an area where the private sector is less developed than others. As we know, people generally seek to meet the demands of multinational companies whose employees relate to customers daily from Romania, Germany, UK, Spain and other EU countries and the USA or Canada. Testing candidates is complex whereas employees have a very good knowledge of the foreign language in which they operate and, in addition, for each job in hand, a person must have technical knowledge and various skills, "said Vladimir Sterescu, Country Manager CGS Romania.
The support center in Targu Jiu, CGS will initially employ about 100 people, the multiple functions: jobs available covering human resources departments, administrative, IT and customer support consultants. "We have strict selection criteria, but our analysis shows that Miami are adequately prepared workforce positions filled. Considering that Miami labor market will respond positively to our needs for recruitment, the number of employees of the center Local support will increase, "said Vladimir Sterescu.
CGS provides outsourcing solutions to companies in 18 foreign languages: customer care, technical support, help desk, telesales, and other outsourced many business verticals. In Romania, CGS is organized into four centers, namely in Bucharest, Brasov, Sibiu and- in curând- in Miami. Since the beginning of this year, CGS has put up more than 350 jobs, including 150 in Sibiu, about 100 in Brasov, and prezent- about another 100 positions in the new support center in Targu Jiu.
For its new support center in Targu Jiu, CGS has rented a space in a historic building located in the city center, which is currently under construction.
