The Indian steel rim producer Steel Strips Wheels Ltd (SSWL) has announced that it registered net sales of INR 850.2 million ($14 million) in July, increasing by 10.8 percent compared to the corresponding month of 2012.
In terms of units sold, in July SSWL sold 882,000 steel wheel rims, up by 15 percent compared to 767,000 wheel rims sold in the same month of 2012, while the company's wheel rim exports increased to 124,076, up 36.43 percent year on year.
SSWL expects its steel wheel rim sales to reach 910,000 in August.
