North Carolina Mutual Life Insurance has partnered with Aon Hewitt to offer free support and access to a national network of Medicare insurance products to the senior African American community through Aon Hewitt Navigators.
Under the partnership, North Carolina Mutual's clients will have access to modern tools that help them to select the best health plan suitable to their requirements.
The comprehensive retiree health care marketplace will offer access to independent, licensed and certified insurance agents. In addition, personal health advocates will also assist concerns of seniors throughout the year.
Aon Hewitt Navigators general manager Matt Mann said that the process of selecting the right Medicare insurance plan can be challenging for many seniors.
"We are proud to partner with North Carolina Mutual to help ensure that seniors in the African American community find a plan that will protect them at an affordable price," Mann added.
North Carolina Mutual caters to the life and health insurance needs of the African American community and currently has over 200,000 policyholders nationwide.
Aon Hewitt Navigators offers access to more than 80 health insurance carriers and 3,300 different plans, including personalized support to ensure participants choose the right plan to meet their individual needs.
