SONY'S First Digital Baby Monitor Has Night Vision and a Temperature Sensor

SONY'S first digital baby monitor has night vision and a temperature sensor, and reports a baby's stirring on LED lights.

ASUS VIVOTAB 810 WINDOWS 8 TABLET ($1099)

The VivoTab 810 features an 11.6-inch multi-touch display, is 8.7mm thick and weighs 675gm. It has a Wacom digitizer pen and Intel's new Clover Trail processor, so it runs regular Windows 8 programs. The price includes a mobile keyboard dock and the pen.

SONY BABY MONITOR ($299.95)

Sony's first-ever digital baby monitor, the NTM-V1, features a 5.84cm colour display while the transmitter includes 2x digital zoom, night vision, a temperature sensor and four LEDs. It detects baby's stirring and relays it directly to the receiver, anywhere in the house. Range is 100m. The monitor has a battery and can be carried on a belt.
