Nishka Lulla’s fashionable travellogue was an exciting glamorous trip during Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013.
Giving the intrepid female traveler many fashionable options during her journey around the globe, Nishka Lulla once again offered wardrobe selections that were easy to pack and wear during Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013.
Using doodles like clouds, crows, trees, ikat, and windowpane checks as part of her print story, Nishka stayed true to clean simple silhouettes for her separates that could be mixed and matched extensively to create a melangé of permutations and combinations.
Fabrics ranged from terry wool, cotton drill, wool jersey, lame, crêpe to silk tissue, satin, and cotton in soft shades of pale green, beige, brown, slate, peach, brown and olive green.
The prints were so subtle that they were almost invisible and placed strategically on hemlines or shoulders.
Relaxed shirts, unstructured coats, micro miniskirts, cropped jackets ikat embellished tees, oversized pullovers, shirt dresses and wrap skirts all came together for a perfect line of combination dressing options.
Comfort and flexibility were still the key words of the collection giving the intrepid traveler a sense of adventure in her sartorial choice.
The collection was complemented perfectly by the very slick and appropriate travel bags created by Vitasta design.
For that ideal travel wardrobe, Nishka Lulla once again combined fashion with convenience in her inimitable manner.
