The Jaguar F-Type coupe has been spotted testing in near production trim by CarAdvice's spy photographers.
Just days after patent images purporting to be the Jaguar F-Type coupe were revealed, our spy shooters have snapped the real thing testing in Europe.
The images reveal identical styling and roofline design to the just-launched Jaguar F-Type roadster, but with a smooth hardtop roof in place that accentuates the two-door sports car's muscular haunches.
Like the Roadster, the Jaguar F-Type coupe is likely to be available in two six-cylinder versions – the base 250kW/450Nm V6 and the 280kW/460Nm V6 S – and one big-power 364kW/625Nm 5.0-litre supercharged V8 variant. Even more performance-orientated R and R-S models are also expected to follow.
The Jaguar F-Type coupe should join the E-Type replacement's line-up next year, potentially undercutting the soft-top's $139,000 starting price.
