Indian automobile firm Tata Motors' global sales increased 26% to 139,655 vehicles in March this year.
In March, global sales of all commercial vehicles - Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range - increased 12% to 63,791.
The company's UK-based Jaguar Land Rover unit's sales surged 51% to 36,471 units.
Automobile firm sold 5,343 Jaguar sedans, up 42%, while sales of Land Rover sport-utility vehicles climbed 53% to 31,128 units.
Tata Motors said that the demand for Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles helped it post a 41% increase in overall passenger car and SUV sales globally to 75,864 units.
Sales of trucks and buses for the month grew 12% to 63,791 autos and the company's sales in the financial year ended 31 March rose 17% to 1.25 million autos.
