Ron Ore Mining Workers Were Urged to Follow Safety Measures to Achieve Zero Mishap

As the Steel Authority of India concluded its 50th Safety Week on December 15th,iron ore mining workers were urged to follow safety measures to achieve zero mishap.

Mr Anup Srivastav deputy director of Mines Safety,Dhanbad at Meghahatu Buru said that"Accidents have been reduced following usage of latest equipment and the aim is zero mishap."

Delving into safety measures during work at iron ore mines,he suggested workers to make such measures a practice,particularly drivers fastening safety belts to prevent injury risk.

Mr Srivastav said that concerted efforts during the last two decades had reduced mishaps in iron ore mines.
