US-based Thermal Packaging Products has developed a temperature control shipping carton to retain the chillness of wine.
Made with eco preferable insulated padding and materials, the carton dubbed, 'Chilled Wine Shipper,' is designed to allay quality concerns of consumers about the product during warm summers.
The shipper is available in four and six bottle complete systems or custom sized liners to fit existing shipping carton with the 4-Bottle Shippers having one extra refrigerant cooling chamber and 6-Bottle Shippers having two refrigerant cooling chambers to ensure additional temperature control during shipments.
The bottle labels are protected with the perforated inner surface of the poly film that allows the refrigerant's condensation to wick away and be absorbed into the cotton fibers.
The cushioning carton liner will have ultra-insulating padding manufactured from select, purified recycled biodegradable super absorbent cotton enhanced textile fibers between an inner layer and an outer layer of poly film sealed on all sides.
The special antimicrobial in the flexible cushioning ultra-insulation padding prevents contamination and is developed in a way to expire after a desired length of time to ensure an eventual degradation of the Wine Shipper.
The carton also comes with an enhanced cotton insulation that is made in a way to biodegrade completely in less than a year though an additive as tested by ASTM 5511.
The chance of shifting during transportation and handling is eliminated due to the engineered heavy corrugated separators.
The bottles are also protected from unwanted moisture and spills are wicked away due to the perforated poly film that surrounds the cotton insulation.
