From 17 to 20 September 2012, Texworld – one of the most important international trade exhibitions for the apparel and textile industry – was held in Paris. Rieter was the only machine manufacturer participating and generated a great deal of interest amongst exhibitors and visitors.
Prime focus was centered on the new Rieter Com4 yarn brands, the Rieter licensees and reference customers as well as on the forthcoming seminar on the four Com4 yarns.
The new Rieter Com4 yarns
Under the slogan "Com4 Yarns of Choice" Rieter presented the four new yarn brands – Com4 ring for Rieter ring yarn, Com4 compact for Rieter compact yarn, Com4 rotor for Rieter rotor yarn and Com4 jet for air-jet spun yarn from Rieter. In a screen show and on large wall panels, each yarn was individually presented and the most important yarn characteristics and range of application were explained. The various yarn bobbins, fabric samples and end products available on the Rieter stand provided visitors with the opportunity to get to know the practical usages of the various yarns. In addition, special interest was shown in the fabric samples and end products created with the new Com4 jet yarn from Linz Textil.
Great interest in the Rieter Seminar on Com4 yarns
From customer letters and press reports, numerous visitors already knew about the new Rieter seminars which impart comprehensive know-how on the Rieter Com4 yarns to yarn sellers, buyers and dealers.
These seminars are creating lively interest in the market. The first seminar of this kind will be held at the end of November in Switzerland (Winterthur); further seminars in China and India are now being planned.
