US Imports of Cut-to-Length Plates in May Slumps From 114,141 Tons From April

According to data released by the US Census Bureau, the US’s imports of cut-to-length plates totaled 61,313 tons in May, slumping from 114,141 tons from April and decreasing from 112,118 tons in the same month of 2012.

In May, Canada was the largest exporter of cut-to-length plates to the US with 15,234 tons. Germany was the second largest one with 55,865 tons and France was the third largest one with less than 3,000 tons.
