Italian sports car manufacturer Lamborghini has unveiled the new Gallardo LP560-4 Gold Limited Edition at the Shenzhen Hong Kong Macau International Auto Show, which will be targeting at Chinese market.
According to the Italian carmaker, the new model is powered by a 5.2litre V10 engine, which will generate a total output of about 552hp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 540Nm at 6,500rpm.
Engine of the Gold Edition model features a direct injection fuel system, which is expected to enhance the fuel efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions.
Improvement to the fuel system claims to offer a cut fuel consumption and CO2 emission by 18% while achieving a top speed of 201mph.
The new supercar comes with a special gold metallic paint, unique alloys, a new engine cover and special red interior upholstery stitching.
Lamborghini said that it will manufacture only ten units of the new limited edition model, which will be offered in China at a price of nearly CNY3.988m ($626,383).
