VTech is stepping outdoors with its latest toy line, Kidiactive, which adds electronic features to the flying disc, the ball and the skipping rope.
The VTech Talking Disc features a recording button and four funny face buttons for choosing music as well as a motion senor which detects when the disc is flying. The mode button selects five different games.
The Twist & Talk Ball (pictured) features one nose button and one mode button with five modes of play including counting, rhyming, words, crazy sounds in your world and hot potato.
Completing the range is the 2-in-1 Skipping Rope, which has eight modes of play, four in rope modes and four in ribbon modes which teach numbers, times tables and counting by numbers.
The kids electronic specialist is also showing two new versions of its best-selling Kidizoom at Toy Fair.
Kidizoom Touch (pictured below) has a three-inch colour touch screen, two 2MP lenses on the front and back of the toy, MP3 player, SD card expansion and PC connection. This toy has photo morphing features and special effects.
Also new is the Kidizoom Twist Plus, which has been enhanced and updated with the latest technology for 2013. New features include a motion trigger self timer, face detection, stop motion video creator, menu screen personalisation, photo burst mode and more, with a 2.3 inch colour LCD screen. It also connects to the Learning Lodge Navigator for downloadable games, themes, apps and more.
VTech has also expanded its Switch & Go Dinosaurs boys range, adding Abner the Amargasaurus and Mega T-Rex models on show at Toy Fair.
