Automated Packaging Systems is set to introduce the Autobag AB 180 Bagging System with an integrated Accu-Count 200 high speed counter, in China.
The new bag packaging system has been designed for industrial packaging applications, including hardware fasteners, electrical parts, plumbing supplies, and for other small parts that are suitable for bag packaging.
It comes with an inline automatic parts counter as well as thermal transfer printer for applying graphics, text and barcodes on to the bag directly.
According to the company, the counter and bagger system has a footprint of about 1.25 x 1.5m, and will count, batch and package up to 2,500 bags per hour in sizes from 5 to 28cm wide x 8 to 56cm long.
Vibratory automatic infeed system Accu-Count 200 features a detection eye that will count small parts from 3.18mm in diameter, 3.18mm to 6.35cm long, and up to 5.08cm wide.
By using genuine Autobag pre-opened bag on roll materials, product changeovers are achieved in less than two minutes. The bags are available in clear, clear/white combination and custom pre-printed in up to ten colors.
Various film types are available, from standard linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) to greaseproof/waterproof co-extruded materials.
