Italian sports car manufacturer Lamborghini has unveiled the new Aventador LP700-4 Roadster, which is claimed to be an open-top variant that the firm has ever built.
The new Roadster is powered by a 6.5litre V12 engine, which is mated to ISR 7-speed automatic transmission and push-rod suspension, while generating an output of 700hp.
Featuring a cylinder deactivation system, the new engine's instant stop & start system comprising supercaps is claimed to be deployed for the first time in super sports car segment.
The new Aventador Roadster is aimed at offering a 0-100km/h sprint in three seconds while offering a maximum speed of about 350km/h.
Avendator's two-piece carbon fibre roof, developed through the use of technologies including RTM and Forged Composite, is claimed to ensure maximum aesthetic performance.
The new convertible is equipped with removable panels, in addition to new 20inch front and 21inch rear alloy wheels.
