OctoChem Expanded Its Plant as a Result of Various Industries Addressing a Growing Need

US-based fulfillment services provider OctoChem has expanded its Midwest specialty distribution plant in Vandalia as a result of various industries addressing a growing need to handle the packaging and distribution of product samples properly.

Through its Sample Distribution and Specialty Packaging (SDSP) process the plant provides the solution to address the specified needs.

The Vandalia campus has expanded with an addition of 60,000ft2, which includes a new fire room storage enclosure and a clean room.

Companies in the industries including personal care, biotech, pharmacy, chemical and food and flavors are said to benefit from OctoChem's expanded capacity, product offerings and Globally Harmonized System (GHS) compliant operation.

OctoChem president Mark Langston said the company breaks down bulk packages from its clients and ships them to end users in the accurate size and amount they request.

"In many cases their end users willingly pay to receive these products exactly as requested. As a result, our clients are able to increase sales and decrease distribution costs without end users ever having to know that we played a role in the distribution process," Langston added.
