LED epitaxial wafer and chip maker Epistar, which saw net operating loss of NT$306 million (US$10.4 million) and net loss of NT$248 million in the first quarter of 2013, has reported net operating profit of NT$387 million and net profit of NT$362 million for the second quarter.
LED packaging house Everlight Electronics saw over 70% increases in both second-quarter net operating profit and net profit in the second quarter.
For the first half of 2013, Epistar posted net EPS of NT$0.11, and Everlight NT$1.45.
