in March This Year Turkey's Stainless Flat Steel Imports Rose by 18.9 Percent

According to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in March this year Turkey's stainless flat steel imports rose by 18.9 percent compared to the previous month and were up 6.8 percent compared to March 2012, amounting to 33,752 metric tons. The value of these imports was $82.9 million, increasing by 15.1 percent as compared to February and down three percent year on year.

In the first quarter of the year, Turkey's stainless flat steel imports amounted to 91,216 metric tons, decreasing 0.5 percent compared to the same period of 2012. The value of these imports was $228.2 million, decreasing by 6.8 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
