Samsung has revamped its smart TV interface with four new full-screen hubs.
The first hub, "On TV", has a photo interface that shows what's coming up on TV, and there's a feed of recommended programs to watch based on past viewing habits.
There's a second hub for social networking that shows Facebook and Twitter feeds. It plays videos recommended by friends and the latest "hot" clips from YouTube.
A third hub offers access to a personal collection of photos, music and video, while a fourth hub is for apps downloaded from Samsung's library of 3000 apps.
Samsung plans to make available a fifth hub with a selection of movies and other on-demand content by mid-year.
There's a vast number of ways users interact with their smart TV. They can use gestures, voice commands and, when changing channels, "draw" channel numbers with fingertips on the remote control. Or they can press the remote the old-fashioned way.
