Texas Health Resources has selected Medicity's health information exchange (HIE) solutions including Medicity MediTrust Cloud Services, Medicity ProAccess, Novo Grid, iNexx Referrals and Lab Orders.
The solutions will enable Texas Health to securely exchange patient information among its facilities and physicians.
By using the HIE solutions, physicians can also easily share information with each other that can help improve patient care.
Texas Health Resources, a nonprofit health care delivery system, has 25 inpatient, transitional, rehabilitation and short-stay hospitals, 18 outpatient facilities and more than 5,500 affiliated physicians.
Medicity president Brent Dover said, "We look forward to working with Texas Health to further transform the quality and cost-effectiveness of care for the 6.2 million residents it serves in north central Texas."
