Telecom NZ Expected to Cut Its Number of Full-Time Equivalent Employees

TELECOM Corporation of New Zealand expects to incur one-off restructuring costs of between $NZ70 million ($58.6m) and $NZ80m this year in relation to the reduction of its local and Australian Gen-i operations, the company said in a statement today.

The company said it expected to cut its number of full-time equivalent employees to between 6300 and 6600 by the middle of 2013 from 7530 as of December 31.
