Switzerland-based Neopac is set to introduce new AirShield tube at Luxepack in New York, which will be held from 12 to 14 May 2014.
With a special protective shield function, the tube has a new valve preventing all exposure to oxygen.
When pressure is exerted on the tube the valve with two components opens, and recloses when the pressure abates. This avoids air from flowing back into the sensitive contents.
AirShield has been designed to suit to oxygen-sensitive contents for beauty products or natural cosmetics.
Neopac said that the tube allows cosmetics products to retain their consistency, color as well as effect, even after the packaging has been opened and is in use daily.
