There are now just 30 places left available.
The 2015 Toy Trust Charity Big Thames Challenge has almost sold out.
The annual Toy Trust fundraiser, scheduled for Saturday, June 6th 2015, has received an 'overwhelming response' and 270 industry professionals across 24 companies have signed up so far.
There are now just 30 places left available and the Toy Trust is looking to reach a new record participation of 300 people.
The multi-event fundraiser will be based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire and participants can choose to take part in a 20km walk or 20km run, both of which will follow the Thames Path. There is also the option of an 80 mile bike ride.
Due to high demand, the previously advertised Olympic Triathlon is now sold out. There are plans for a family friendly walk also following the Thames Path in a bid to encourage those with families to get involved.
“Naturally we’re delighted with the record response so far from the toy, licensing and retail community,” said event organiser Nick Austin.
“Any company still not signed up needs to do so ASAP as we are restricted to 300 places. We can guarantee all participants a truly fantastic day of fun, team-building and camaraderie whilst delivering a big-hearted charitable donation to children’s charities that need our support.”
Foye Pascoe, chair of the Toy Trust Committee, added: “In 2015, we are aiming to build on what was a remarkable achievement at this year’s Toy Trust Isle of Wight Challenge.
"I encourage you and your company to get involved in what will be a great toy industry occasion, whilst raising money for a fantastic cause.”
