Carryout and kitchen prep packaging designer and manufacturer in the US, Pak-Sher has launched new bakery/deli interfolded sheet, Envirosheets made from 8 to 19 recycled milk jugs.
Claimed to be produced using 100% post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR), Envirosheets meets FDA guidelines for direct food contact.
Manufactured and packaged at the company's plant in Kilgore, Texas, US, the product has the ability to create a 100% PCR product.
Pak-Sher president and CEO Paul Gage said, "Finally, supermarkets, delis, bakeries, and convenience stores have a truly green product that will help them achieve their sustainability goals AND can improve their bottom line."
Envirosheets provide benefits such as moisture barrier, microwavable, easy-grab interfolded packaging that are similar to those offered by virgin poly sheets.
