AstroNova’s TrojanLabel and QuickLabel units will unveil four new label presses and printers at Pack Expo 2017 and Labelexpo Europe 2017.
The company will showcase its QuickLabel QL-30 and QL-60, compact, monochrome high-speed thermal transfer printers; Trojan T2-C, a tabletop press that supports high-capacity label production; and Trojan T4, an all-in-one digital label production and finishing press.
The QL-30 and QL-60 thermal transfer label printers are ideal for barcoding and other one-color labeling applications.
These machines feature a full-color touchscreen interface, with video and Wi-Fi. They can be used for producing rugged images for hazardous substance labeling.
The Trojan T2-C has a footprint of less than four square feet. This machine features automatic tension control and a built-in web guide for ideal print quality and registration.
The TrojanControl touch panel user interface is user-friendly and facilitates a quick start-up. The T2-C has been designed for brand owners, print shops and professional label converters who plan to add high-resolution color inkjet labels to their portfolio. The machine offers print speeds up to 12 inches/second and resolution of up to 1600 dpi.
The Trojan T4 is a single pass, label printing press and finishing system for high-production environment for professional label converting. The T4 features a TrojanControl touch panel user interface.
The advanced digital inkjet press can print, laminate, die cut and slit brilliant full-bleed color labels up to 1600x1600 dpi resolution at speeds of up to 60 feet/18 meters per minute. Users can also create blank die cut labels at speeds up to 165 feet/50 meters per minute.
Though the T4 has been designed for high-capacity production, it is also ideal for short label runs. It is fully integrated for efficiency, quick changeovers, minimize downtime and optimize profitability. The T4 all-in-one label production solution takes up less than 7-1/2 feet of workspace.
Pack Expo 2017 is being held from September 25 to 27 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Labelexpo Europe from September 25 to 28 in Brussels, Belgium.
