EldoLED 50W LED driver platform
US lighting controls company Acuity Brands has acquired Dutch driver specialist EldoLED.
EldoLED, which was established in 2003, makes drivers for LED lighting systems and has already developed lighting solutions for Acuity whose brands include Holophane.
Albert Berghuis, general manager at EldoLED, which is headquartered in Eindhoven in the Netherlands, said: "We've had the pleasure of partnering with Acuity Brands on several LED fixtures across its Gotham, Mark Architectural Lighting and Winona Lighting brands." EldoLED said it will continue to focus on providing driver solutions for its OEM customers.
Vernon Nagel, the CEO of Acuity Brands said: "EldoLED has developed and continues to develop breakthrough solutions in the field of solid-state lighting through its comprehensive offering of drivers, controls and networking solutions."
