Dragon Aromatics is likely to start commercial production at its No.2 Paraxylene (PX) plant by the end of this month.
“We have achieved on-spec production at No.2 PX plant earlier this month and plan to start commercial production by end of Ocotber 2013,” a company official told fibre2fashion.
The No.2 PX plant is located in China’s Fujian province and it has a capacity to produce 800,000 mt/year of PX.
Dragon Aromatics, owned by Taiwan's Xianglu Group, is one of China's biggest independent petrochemical producers.
