Japanese carmaker Mazda Motor (MMC) is planning to unveil the 2013 Mazda6 sedan at the upcoming Moscow Motor Show in Russia, to be held from 29 August 2012 to 09 September 2012.
The new sedan for Russia, also known as Atenza in Japan has been totally redesigned for the first time in five years.
Mazda6 sedan is powered by a direct-injection SKYACTIV-G 2.0 gasoline engine, mated to a six-speed SKYACTIV-DRIVE automatic transmission, which produces an output of 155hp and 150lb-ft of torque.
According to the carmaker, the new sedan is the first model to feature the company's brake energy regeneration system, intelligent energy loop, (i-ELOOP), which is expected to enhance fuel economy and reduce carbon emissions.
The carmaker will also unveil its Shinari concept car and exhibit SKYACTIV Engine at the show.
Mazda revealed that the Mazda6 is expected to go on sale in early 2013.
