(China Glass Network) First global solar photovoltaic glass international standard is set up as one project by TRONY Solar, the high tech enterprise of new energy industry in Shenzhen, this company will be the convener for international standardization working group in the future, this is also the first successful international standard for solar photovoltaic project in China. Yesterday, committee members, experts from China, Belgium, Britain, Germany, France and Japan attended the meeting "Annual Meeting of International Standardization Organization ISO/TC1602010" in Shenzhen.
Huang Jianbin, the deputy secretary-general of National Standardization Technical Committee on architectural glass, said since 2000, the capacity and technology of China glass industry have increased largely, and has become the first glass producer country in the world. However, standardization for glass field is still relatively weak.
The chief of Shenzhen Standard Technology Institute said, currently it is difficult to have bigger breakthrough in the traditional areas of international standardization, while solar PV is one new industry, Chinese companies have few gap with the world companies. Shenzhen enterprise has received this project, it has special significance for knowing the development trend of industry and improving the researching and innovation key competitiveness of the whole industry.
