SEW-Eurodrive DriveACADEMY?

Many of you will know this program. Here’s a quick run down for those who don’t. The 2014 schedule is available at the end.

What is it?

It is a geared motor and drive technology training programme that is based on the same in-depth technical training syllabus used to educate SEW-EURODRIVE’s own engineers. It is run worldwide, and throughout Australia.

What do I get out of it?

It provides end users and system integrators with the full set of skills they need to get the most out of SEW-Eurodrive products and services.

Should I take part?

The customers who participate come from large organisations to smaller boutique companies. All courses are offered for a variety of end users, including drive engineers, service application engineers, operations managers and maintenance technicians.

The training provides knowledge for anyone who wants to improve systems and minimise downtime. Product-specific courses are also offered, to provide expertise around some of SEW-EURODRIVE’s most popular technologies such as the Movidrive B application inverter, Movigear, Movifit and the Movitrac frequency inverter families.

What do the courses entail?

The courses cover a wide range of topics, including maintenance and condition repair – focusing on the maintenance and repair of SEW gear-motors, and on condition monitoring systems for preventative maintenance.

All courses are run by technical site-experienced training staff, with small class sizes so every participant’s needs are fully met. Courses are designed to equip you with specific knowledge so that you are able to use SEW-Eurodrive equipment in the most efficient and effective ways.
