Portuguese carrier Optimus and Portugal Telecom (NYSE:PT) declared that they have respectively completed technology test of LTE-Advanced in their 4G network, recording peak download speed reaching 300Mb/s. Both of them adopt products and technology solutions offered by Huawei Technologies, including LTE-Advanced CA, Uplink CoMP and SON.
Optimus mentioned in a statement that upload speed recorded in a lab test has reached 70Mb/s, increasing 20Mb/s from former maximum.
