Global manufacturer and exporter of home textiles - Himatsingka Group plans to double revenue from its brands in the home textiles space.
In the just completed fiscal year 2013-14, home textile brands in the group’s portfolio generated revenues exceeding Rs 600 crores, Himatsingka informs.
The group is exploring various initiatives to augment its brand portfolio and deepen the distribution network of these brands.
These initiatives, it says, should potentially steer revenues from brands to approximately Rs 1,200 crores over the next two years.
Shrikant Himatsingka, Executive Director, says, “We are focused on augmenting the strength of our branded portfolio and see several opportunities that will help us grow brand revenue streams to around Rs 1,200 crores.”
The Rs 2000 crore Himatsingka Group is a vertically integrated Indian home textile major with a global footprint.
On the manufacturing front, it operates amongst the largest capacities in the world for upholstery fabrics, drapery fabrics and bed linen products.
The group manages over 10 home textiles brands globally. Its brand portfolio includes marquee brands like Calvin Klein Home, Barbara Barry, Esprit, Bellora and Atmosphere, among others. (AR)
