Chris Evert Joined Hands with Tail Activewear to Create Tennis Apparels

Former American professional tennis player Chris Evert has joined hands with the Florida-based women’s athleticwear company Tail Activewear to create a line of innovative tennis apparels.

Inspired by the tennis champion’s graceful, classy, sporty, youthful and feminine spirit, the collection will combine the practicality of the fiercely competitive game.

Dubbed as Chrissie by Tail, the range will be replete with advanced fabrications, trims, on-trend colours and contemporary design details.

Slated to be available for sale from November, 2014 onwards at leading retailers and online at www.chrissiebytail.com, the line includes short dresses, skirts, criss-cross back tops, hoodies, jackets, pants and shirts with long sleeves in a palette of hot pink, fluorescent blue, white and black.

Chris pushed our team to elevate design and performance and helped us stay positive and focused on achieving new heights. We shall work obsessively to make Chrissie by Tail a new standard for innovation in fashion and performance, CEO of Tail Activewear, Mr. Jerry Edwards, said in a statement.

While speaking on the range, Ms. Evert comments “Tail was extremely diligent in researching fabrics and innovating design and always open to collaborating on every detail, which enabled us to achieve a sporty, fashion forward look as well as athletic performance.”

During her professional tennis career, Chris Evert won 18 Grand Slam titles and was ranked #1 in the world seven times. Today, she operates the Evert Tennis Academy in Boca Raton, Florida, is active on several non-profit boards, and is a commentator for ESPN during Grand Slam events.

For over 40 years, Tail Activewear has been at the forefront of women's active apparel, bringing fashion and performance together with distinctive, stylish looks and detailing. Tail's focus on consistent fit and exceptional fabrications leads to quality products year after year, creating a loyal following of consumers worldwide.
