Japanese carmaker Nissan has unveiled its 2013 Sentra sedan in Dallas, US, which will be offered in S, FE+ S, SV, FE+ SV, SR and SL variants.
The new sedan powered by a new 1.8litre DOHC 4-cylinder engine features twin continuously variable timing control (CVTC) system, which is mated to Xtronic CVT, and generate an output of 130hp and 128lbft of torque.
Features of the new sedan include a six-way manual driver's seat, 4-way manual front passenger's seat, power door locks with auto-locking feature, two auxiliary 12-volt power outlets, remote keyless entry and remote trunk and fuel-filler door releases.
Nissan is also offering a new Dual Zone automatic temperature control (ATC) system, which is expected to assist the driver or front passengers in setting their own individual temperature.
The 2013 Sentra is also equipped with an independent strut front suspension with stabilizer bar, torsion beam rear axle with incorporated stabilizer bar, power-assisted vented front disc/rear drum braking system and vehicle-speed-sensitive electric power steering.
According to the carmaker, the new sedan will offer an EPA fuel economy estimate of 34mpg combined.
