The redevelopment project of LangPrabang International Airport, for which China Camc Engineering acted as a general contractor, held the completion ceremony on June 1.
The redevelopment project, commencing in April 2010, is the first preferential loan project between the Chinese and Laos civil aviation industry. It will reach the safety standards to operate Airbus A320 / Boeing 737 jet aircrafts and become the second largest international airport just following Vientiane Airport. Annual traffic will grow to 800,000 to 1 million passenger times from 200,000 to 300,000 times.
