Spanish automaker SEAT has announced that it will hire 100 engineers over the next six months to reinforce the projects under development at SEAT’s Technical Centre (CTS) in Spain.
The engineers are expected to work towards the development of electronics, bodywork and engine development for SEAT and the Volkswagen Group at CTS.
In 2014 CTS was responsible for the developed more than 200 projects for both SEAT and other Volkswagen Group brands.
The recruitment process is underway and the company said: "Prospective candidates must have higher engineering qualifications in any speciality as well as an excellent command of both English and German."
According to SEAT, CTS is the only design and development centre in Southern Europe, and has invested nearly $300m on R&D in Spain.
The company also highlighted that the new engineers will bring about a 10% increase to the current headcount of 900 people at SEAT's Technical Centre.
