International Aluminium Institute showed that global primary aluminum output averaged 67,600 tonne per day in November, up from 67,200 tonne per day in October, but down from 70,800 tonne per day in November 2011.
Figures released Thursday said that total production in November (30 days) was 2.029 million tonne down from a revised 2.083 million tonne in October (31 days) and down from 2.125 million tonne in November 2011.
In the first 11 months of 2012, aluminum production averaged 67,900 tonne per day down from 70,200 tonne per day in January to November 2011. Production for the 11 month period totaled 22.730 million tonne, down from 23.438 million tonne a year earlier.
