Russia-based steel pipe maker ChTPZ Group shipped 382,100 tons of steel pipes in the first quarter of this year, falling by 8% year on year.
Among them, 323,900 tons were exported to the Russian domestic market, increasing by 10% in comparison of the figures in the same period of a year earlier.
In the first quarter of this year, the company’s shipments of seamless steel pipes totaled 236,000 tons, including 85,000 tons were oil country tubular goods (OCTG), jumping by 50% year on year.
Meanwhile, its welded steel pipes shipments totaled 146,000 tons in the given period of time, including 136,000 tons of large-diameter pipes.
