The 1987 film Planes, Trains and Automobiles starred Steve Martin and John Candy, and the 92 minute movie’s plot told of a story of two men on their way home for Thanksiving Dinner. In order to reach their Chicago destination from a New York business trip, they experienced continued struggles with missed happenstances involving planes, trains and automobiles.
