A 12-year-old girl who designed a Barbie outfit saw it come to life after winning a competition.
Lucy Miller was presented with a one-of-a-kind Barbie doll by Barbie herself, after entering the 'See What Happens When You Design with Barbie' competition.
It was part of a global marketing initiative from Mattel. The competition was an on-pack promotion which directed girls to a dedicated website, which allowed them to design a new Barbie outfit and win thousands of prizes.
As well as Miller's top prize, five runners up won a Barbie bedroom makeover.
Miller was also chauffeur driven to London in a pink limousine where she enjoyed a trip to the theatre, a shopping spree with spending money, afternoon tea and a night in a luxury London hotel.
A Mattel statement read: "The competition supports Barbie’s continued activity to create emotional connections and deepen brand engagement both online and by creating more 'WOW' experiences."
