Gadget Show Live Has Revealed The First Companies to Sign up for This Year's Toy Zone

Event organisers expect over 85,000 visitors as Gadget Show Lives prepares to launch new Kids Tech Arena

Gadget Show Live has revealed the first raft of tech toy companies to sign up for this year's Toy Zone, including Animin, DJI, Flying Gadgets and Jyrobike.

Parrot and Toca Boca also join the line up of toy companies to exhibit at the show's popular toy dedicated area.

Event organisers have confirmed that this year's show is set to attract over 85,000 visitors as the Gadget Show Live prepares to launch its new attraction, the Kids Tech Arena.

Heralded as the UK's largest consumer tech event, Gadget Show Live will take place between April 9th and 13th at Birmingham's NEC.

Returning exhibitors Flying Gadgets and Parrot will be showcasing their collection of remote controlled toys, including Parrot's app controlled Quadricoptor, and Flying Gadgets' Velocity, the 'world's fastest R/C car'.

Meanwhile, DJI will be demonstrating its range of flying cameras.

Holding up the games end, recently launched Animin will be showcasing its new digital pet described as the 'augmented reality pet that brings Tamagotchi in to the 21st century', while award winning play studio Toca Boca will bring its range of digital children's toys.

Finally, Jyrobike - a firm that launches on Kickstarter this May - will preview its new take on the training bike, using a gyro to enhance kids' balance and co-ordination skills and utlising a 'control hub' in the front wheel, eliminating the need for stabilisers.

Event director, Sally Bent, said: "Last year’s Gadget Show Live attracted almost 80,000 visitors and the toy demo area welcomed over 5,000 kids of all ages over the course of the five day show.

"“This year the show is on track to attract over 85,000 visitors and with our usual family audience flocking to try the latest tech, the Kids Tech Arena is set to be a unique chance for toy companies to get their products in the hands of the consumer.”
