UK-based distributor of polypropylene, laminates and films National Flexible has developed a new food-grade film.
The film can withstand prolonged exposure to high temperatures without breaking down and can be printed with a full color photographic image to enhance the visual appeal of the product.
National Flexible has also launched new food-grade inks, which were able to withstand extremes of temperature and are resistant to moisture.
According to the company, the inks have a consistent lay-down which allows for better image clarity when printing and the strength of their bond to the film makes sure that there are no issues with ink-lift, cracking or flaking, even for surface printed films.
