Industry PC supplier Ennoconn saw its net profits increase 16% on quarter and 31% on year to NT$267 million (US$8.46 million) in the second quarter of 2016. The earnings translated into an EPS of NT$3.78 for the quarter.
Gross margin also improved 1pp sequentially and 4.3pp on year to 21.9% in the second quarter, the highest level in 10 quarters.
For the first half of 2016, net profits totaled NT$500 million, increasing 35% from a year earlier. EPS for the January-June period reached at NT$7.06.
The company's stock price gained NT$3.00 to finish at NT$482.00 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange during the August 5 session.
