South African Label Printing Firm Selects Rotoflex's Die-Cutting Machine

Packaging machinery firm Rotoflex has received a contract to supply die-cutting machines to local label printer firm N & R Labels.

As per the contract, South African provider of label & printing systems SArepco will serve as the company's representative to provide Rotoflex DSI die cutting machine.

Planned to be installed at N & R facility in Cape Town, the Rotoflex DSI die cutting platform is designed to perform with servo-driven accuracy in die cutting and rewinding as well as speeds up to 1,000fpm (305m/min).

Rotoflex director Ralph Beier said: "After spending four days in the SArepco stand at Gapp Print Expo, it was evident that owner Paul Bouwer has established a very professional and effective organisation.

"In operation for over 30 years, the SArepco team is highly technical and knowledgeable regarding the products they represent.

"The team is very connected to the South African industry as proven with the steady flow of companies to their stand that own product represented by SArepco."

The compact footprint machine features separate servos for capstan stripper and matrix rewind, slitting tension zone, outside supported unwind and rewind shafts and the integrated URC 2.0 control system and eDrive 2.0.

Designed to run in inspection mode with a Unilux LED2000 series inspection strobe light, the DSI can efficiently perform slitting, rewinding and inspection of finished label rolls as well as die cutting.
