Innovia Films is all set to introduce its new top coated facestock films, UltraFoil at LabelExpo Europe 2013 taking place in Brussels from 24 - 27 September.
According to the company, the UltraFoil films combine the die-cutting, dispensability and optics associated with biaxially oriented polypropylene film (BOPP) label films, and also improved cold foil and fine tone printing performance.
Innovia Films Labels market development manager Richard Southward said the films offer more options for designers and brand owners for intricate graphics.
"Label printers will appreciate the films' on-press performance with wide ink, process and foiling compatibility. These films are ideal for labelling rigid or semi-squeezable containers," Southward added.
The company developed the UltraFoil films to address customer demand for labeling products that have cold foil decoration requirements. They have been designed to run on press at normal speeds without efficiency loss.
Said to be compatible with a range of cold foil adhesives and suitable for use with both silver and colored foils, the films are available in clear, UltraFoil CFA and white variants, UltraFoil WFA.
