The new range of trading cards will hit retailers on June 12th ahead of the release of Transformers: Age of Extinction.
As Transformers: Age of Extinction readies to hit the big screen this July, Topps is joining the celebrations with its new Transformers Trading Card Game.
The new collection features a range of characters from the previous three Transformers movies, alongside new characters from the upcoming cinematic release.
Kids will be encouraged to collect and swap new Autobots, Decepticons, villains and human characters, including Mark Whalberg's character from the fourth installment of the movie franchise.
Louise Ramplin, entertainment marketing manager for Topps, said: "The hugely popular franchise is back for what looks set to be a box office smash. We are delighted to be bringing to market a collection that will give fans of all ages a fun-filled accompaniment to the new movie."
The collection will feature over 170 cards to collect, including special mirror-foil and rainbow cards.
"The Transformers Trading Card Game will provide a fun way for fans to engage with the on-screen action and offers retailers an opportunity to capitalise on what we are sure will be a hit this summer; we anticipate the series to be a success both on and off the playground," said Ramplin.
The Transformers Trading Card Game will hit retailers from June 12th. Starter packs will retail for £4.99 and will contain a collector binder, game guide, reversible game mat, packet of trading cards and a limited edition.
Packets of eight cards will retail at £1 each and collectible mini tins will retail at £5.99.
