Sales of Cinderella slippers and Prince Charming costumes are on the rise as Disney’s live action remake readies for release in the UK.
eBay.co.uk reports a steady growth in sales of fairytale fancy dress items, having sold 1,000 Prince Charming costumes in the last three months.
The platform currently has over 66,800 Cinderella related products listed, from tutu dresses to wigs and has sold over 550 glass slippers since the start of the year.
Disney’s live-action adaptation of its classic animated fairytale will be released in the UK next week, on Friday, March 27th.
The feature sees Lily James adopt the pumpkin coach and glass slippers in her role as Cinderella, as she goes head to head with her cruel stepmother (Cate Blanchett) and stepsisters.
